KREŠIMIR SELETKOVIĆ

Krešimir Seletković is a distinguished recording producer, editor, and composer whose artistic and professional activities span concert music, stage works, and interdisciplinary projects. He is a full professor at the Zagreb Academy of Music in the Department of Composition and Music Theory, where he previously served as Vice Dean for Academic Affairs from 2013 to 2019.
Between 2003 and 2012 he was the editor of the Ars Croatica series of the Croatian Composers’ Society and simultaneously its artistic adviser; from 2012 to 2018 he served as Artistic Director of the Music Biennale Zagreb. In the 2021/2022 season, he was composer-in-residence with the Symphony Orchestra and Choir of Croatian Radiotelevision.
His work has earned numerous distinctions, including the Rector’s Award of the University of Zagreb, the Boris Papandopulo Award, the Stjepan Šulek Award, two Josip Štolcer Slavenski Awards, and theatre music awards at SLUK and the Naj, naj, naj Festival. His ballet Air, premiered at the Music Biennale Zagreb, received the Croatian Theatre Award.
As a prominent recording producer, he is a multiple Porin Award winner. His catalogue comprises around seventy works across a wide range of genres and has been performed internationally.
Since 2020, Seletković has been a corresponding member of the Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts, and since 2024 a full member. In 2019, he was also decorated with the Order of Danica Hrvatska featuring the likeness of Marko Marulić for his contributions to culture and the arts.
